Do I need to rent a car?

No! The town is very walkable, and trains and ferries make it easy to explore nearby villages. Parking can be difficult, and drivers in Italy can be intense!

When should I arrive?

We recommend arriving at least one or two days before the welcome party so you have time to settle in, adjust to the time change, and enjoy the Italian coast.

What events should I plan to attend?

All of our guests are invited to each of our wedding events. We'd love to spend as much time as we can with you during our wedding weekend!

Can I bring a plus one?

Only guests whose invitations specifically include a guest or partner will be able to bring one.

How do I get to Villa Durazzo for the wedding?

Santa Margherita Ligure is walkable- we encourage you to book accommodations within walking distance to Villa Durazzo. There will not be a shuttle, but there are taxis available in town.

What is there to do in Santa Margherita Ligure?

Santa Margherita Ligure is a charming seaside town with plenty to explore at a relaxed pace. Spend the day swimming at the beach, strolling the waterfront promenade, shopping at local boutiques, or enjoying espresso, aperitivo, and fresh seafood at a café by the harbor. Take a short ferry ride or walk to the famous village of Portofino, hike the scenic trail to San Fruttuoso Abbey, visit the charming fishing village of Camogli, or explore the colorful villages of Cinque Terre.
